Introduction
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Bugtrotter software subscription service (“Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you are prohibited from using the Service.
Subscriptions & Billing
Billing Cycle: The Service is billed on a subscription basis in advance on a recurring periodic basis (Monthly or Annual).
Automatic Renewal: Your subscription will automatically renew under the same conditions unless you cancel via your dashboard or contact our support team.
Fee Changes: We reserve the right to modify subscription fees. Any change will become effective at the end of the then-current Billing Cycle.
Grandfathering: If you are a "Founding Member," your flat-rate price is locked for the life of your active account. Cancellation of your account voids this locked-in rate.
Free Trial
We may offer a Free Trial for a limited period.
No Credit Card: Our current trial does not require credit card entry upfront. At the end of the trial, you must select a paid plan to continue using the Service. We reserve the right to modify or cancel trial offers at any time without notice.
"Unlimited" Fair Use & Prohibited Conduct
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You shall not:
Use the Service in any way that violates national or international law.
Use the Service to overburden, damage, or impair our servers (e.g., automated bot-driven recording).
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its connected databases.
Fair Use: We provide "Unlimited" plans for human-centric teams. We reserve the right to throttle or terminate accounts that exhibit bot-like behavior or usage that threatens the stability of the Service.
Intellectual Property
Our Property: BugTrotter, its original content, features, and functionality remain the exclusive property of the Service and its licensors.
Feedback: If you provide suggestions or error reports ("Feedback"), you grant us an unlimited, perpetual, free-of-charge right to use that feedback to improve the Service.
Publicity: You grant BugTrotter a non-exclusive right to use your company logo on our website solely to identify you as a customer.
Copyright Policy (DMCA)
We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe any content on the Service infringes on your copyright, please notify us at hello@bugtrotter.io with the subject line "Copyright Infringement" and a detailed description of the alleged infringement.
Disclaimer of Warranty & Limitation of Liability
"As Is": The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. We make no warranties regarding the completeness, security, or reliability of the Service.
Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bugtrotter shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by you for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including a breach of these Terms. If you wish to terminate, you may simply discontinue use or cancel your subscription.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
